NYC’s Sixth Degree Sextet presents the NYC premiere of The Emigrants — first performed by New Morse Code at the Queens Museum in 2018.

The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam will present the world premiere of Water In Love, on a poem by Ed Bok Lee. (Performance time TBC.)

Mimeo (2024) is a short chamber opera written for The Atlanta Opera’s 96-Hour Opera Festival, and will be premiered as part of a program of five short operas in competition at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College.

David Davila wrote the libretto, and the premiere performance features Pedro Carreras, Jr. (Montalon), Travis Hall (Mimeo), and Choo choo Hu on piano.

The Oak Middle School 8th grade band performs Shrewsbury Fair (2017), a work commissioned for the band and was premiered by the ensemble in 2017, under the direction of Anthony Uglialoro.

Toolbox Percussion (Hong Kong, China) performs the world premiere of Distant Ringing for vibraphone four hands at the Tianjin Juilliard School.

The Vox String Quartet presents the Hong Kong premiere of my String Quartet – a 12-minute pulsating meditation on closely shifting harmonies between the four instruments. The work was first performed by the Romer String Quartet in 2014 in Beijing, and has since been selected by Ensemble Ipse as one of the winners of its string quartet call for scores.

New Morse Code performs The Emigrants as part of the Toolbox Percussion TICA festival in Hong Kong SAR, China.

The Emigrants will be featured as part of the 2021 virtual Hot Air Music Festival hosted by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Rhymes With Opera will premiere a whole collection of new one-minute operas written by our friends, and specifically for our ensemble of singers. Time TBA!

My contribution will be a new one-minute setting of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 60 for Bonnie Lander.

Rhymes With Opera will release our first-ever studio album: the 10th-anniversary collaborative chamber opera by me, Ruby Fulton and John Clum based on the fairy tale Rumpelstiltskin. We’ll kick it off in style with an online party - complete with dance remixes of music from Rumpelstiltskin!
