Mimeo at The Atlanta Opera

Mimeo (2024) is a short chamber opera written for The Atlanta Opera’s 96-Hour Opera Festival, and will be premiered as part of a program of five short operas in competition at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College.

David Davila wrote the libretto, and the premiere performance features Pedro Carreras, Jr. (Montalon), Travis Hall (Mimeo), and Choo choo Hu on piano.

Vox String Quartet

The Vox String Quartet presents the Hong Kong premiere of my String Quartet – a 12-minute pulsating meditation on closely shifting harmonies between the four instruments. The work was first performed by the Romer String Quartet in 2014 in Beijing, and has since been selected by Ensemble Ipse as one of the winners of its string quartet call for scores.

Family Association

The world premiere of Family Association coincides with the 2022 Asian-American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month. A series of meetup events were held at Columbus Park in Manhattan’s Chinatown in May and June 2022, and the piece is also featured as part of University Settlement’s ROAR festival.

Rhymes With Opera presents the world premiere of Rumpelstiltskin, a collaborative opera by composers Ruby Fulton and George Lam, with a libretto by John Clum. This 10th-anniversary production features the founding members of the RWO ensemble Elisabeth Halliday, Bonnie Lander and Robert Maril, conducted by Conrad Chu.
